KanCare Dispute Shutters Cavity Prevention Program

The state’s transition to a new way of managing Medicaid has shut down a program aimed at preventing cavities in pre-school children. As Jim McLean of the KHI News Service reports, the problem lies with the different ways in which three private KanCare companies decide what to pay for.
