Grocery store chain Hy-Vee says it's recalling some bags of Hy-Vee dog food that might contain a toxin commonly found in corn. The Iowa-based company says tests conducted by the Iowa Department of Agriculture indicated higher-than-normal levels of aflatoxin in some samples of the dog food made at a Kansas City plant operated by Pro-Pet, LLC. The recalled products were distributed to Hy-Vee stores in Kansas, Missouri, and six other states between Oct. 26, 2012, and Jan. 11, 2013. More information about the recall can be found on Hy-Vee's website, www.hy-vee.com.
