Hundreds Rally in Topeka for Medicaid Expansion

Nearly 200 people rallied at the Kansas Statehouse yesterday (TUE), urging lawmakers to expand Medicaid. Expanding the program would extend healthcare to an estimated 85,000 low-income Kansans who don't otherwise have health insurance. Despite polls indicating most Kansans support Medicaid expansion, the issue doesn't appear to be on the agenda of Governor Sam Brownback or the Republican-controlled legislature. More from Jim McLean, of the KHI News Service.
