The Kansas House members have approved their version of the budget for the fiscal year that starts July 1st. It took lawmakers 14 hours to wrap up debate on the budget, which spends around 6 billion dollars in state revenue. As KPR’s Stephen Koranda reports, some House members had their minds set on cutting spending.
