High Temps in KS Will Continue in the Coming Days

It looks like Kansans won’t get a break from the heat in the coming days. Temperatures are projected to be in the mid 90s or higher until at least Saturday. Jared Leighton (LAY-ton) is with the National Weather Service. He says temperatures are running about 10 degrees or more above average for this time of year.

Leighton says temperatures are into the range where people can face health risks. He recommends drinking plenty of water when outside and planning outdoor work for cooler parts of the day.
