GOP Candidates for KS SOS: In Their Own Words

Republicans and Democrats cast ballots Tuesday in the state's primary election. One contentious election on the GOP ballot is the race for Kansas Secretary of State.

Tomorrow (TUE), Republican primary voters will have to choose between two candidates vying for the office of Kansas Secretary of State.

Incumbant Kris Kobach (KOE-bahk) is seeking a second term, but first, he'll have to fend-off a challenge from Lawrence attorney Scott Morgan, who has positioned himself as a moderate alternative to the more conservative Kobach.

We'll hear from Kris Kobach in a moment. But first, KPR's J. Schafer brings us more from the challenger, Scott Morgan.

That's Lawrence attorney Scott Morgan, a Republican candidate for Secretary of State. Now, we hear from the man hoping to win another term in that office, Secretary of State Kris Kobach (KOE-bahk).

That's Secretary of State Kris Kobach (KOE-bahk), speaking to KPR's J. Schafer. The winner of tomorrow's (TUE) Republican primary will face the Democratic candidate for Secretary of State, Jean Schodorf, who is unopposed in her primary contest.
