GOP Candidates for KS Ins Comm Dislike ACA

Kansas Republicans will settle several hotly contested races when they go to the polls next week. One of the most important may be the down-ballot race selecting a nominee for state insurance commissioner. That’s because whoever wins the job will have a lot to say about how the federal health reform law is implemented in Kansas. Jim McLean of the KHI News Service has an overview of the GOP field.

Insurance Commissioner candidate John Toplikar declined to be interviewed for this story. For more on the Republican candidates running for insurance commissioner, visit www.khi.org.
