Baseball Hall of Famer George Brett stepped down from the interim hitting coach position he's been holding with the Kansas City Royals. He is returning to his regular position as the Royals' Vice President of Baseball Operations. Brett announced his decision before last (THUR) night's game, so he wasn't around to see the Royals' 7-1 win over Baltimore. Kansas Public Radio's Greg Echlin has the story.
