Update: HHS has clarified their news release to say that the savings reported for 2014 are just for the first six months of the year.
A new report from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services says Kansans on Medicare have already saved more than $10 million this year on prescription drugs, thanks to one of the lesser-known provisions of the Affordable Care Act. Kansas Public Radio’s Bryan Thompson has details.
