Feds Target Young Adults for Enrollment in Obamacare

The KHI News Service is an independent news agency based in Topeka, primarily focused on health policy and state government issues.

Federal health officials plan to focus on enrolling young adults in the Health Insurance Marketplace when open enrollment begins again this fall. The idea is to help protect young people from the costs of unexpected illness or accidents and make insurance more affordable for everyone else. Heartland Health Monitor’s Bryan Thompson reports.

Bryan Thompson is a reporter for the KHI News Service and a contributor to Heartland Health Monitor, a reporting collaborative dedicated to covering health and health policy issues in the Midwest.
