Farm Aid Supports Urban Farm in Kansas City

When music stars Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp founded Farm Aid in 1985, they were advocating for a family farmer who was white, rural and poor. A lot has changed since then... and Farm Aid’s mission has evolved. Those who attend the concert in Kansas City this Saturday will be supporting the new American farmer, including some in urban areas. We get more from Harvest Public Media’s Peggy Lowe.
