Douglas County Issues Free Photo IDs for Voters

(Image credit: Office of the Douglas County Clerk)

The Douglas County clerk’s office is processing the first applications for a new photo ID to be used for voting. The county will issue its own ID cards, which voters can use when they go to the polls. And as KPR’s Stephen Koranda tells us, the office is being proactive and heading out to help people apply for the new ID.

Anyone with questions can contact the Douglas County clerk’s office.

Stephen Koranda is KPR's Statehouse reporter.
