A three-judge panel will soon start weighing the evidence presented during four weeks of trial in the latest school finance lawsuit in Kansas. Plaintiffs in that case have argued that the Kansas legislature is underfunding public schools. If they win, it could result in another court order forcing the legislature to add hundreds of millions of dollars each year in education spending.
