The Kansas Statehouse renovation will be mostly finished by the end of this month, and Governor Sam Brownback's office is planning a celebration to mark the project's completion. Bob Murray is with the governor's office. He says on Kansas Day, January 29th, there will be a formal dedication.

Current and former lawmakers will be present, along with historical reenactors. In addition, a ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on January 2nd to unveil the new visitors' center in the basement of the Statehouse.
