Cracking Down on Drivers Who Text

The Kansas Highway Patrol has been cracking down on those who text while driving. As part of a nationwide campaign called, "U Drive. U Text. U Pay," Lt. Joshua Kellerman says troopers have increased efforts to catch distracted drivers, especially those who text while behind the wheel.

In 2012 alone, distracted driving claimed 3,328 lives and injured more than 421,000 people. Kellerman urges motorists to put down all other distractions and instead... focus on driving.
