Court Officials to Take Public Comments in Topeka

The Kansas court system is looking for ways to save money. Later today (TUE) in Topeka, officials will be asking members of the public to suggest ways the court system can be more efficient and make dollars go farther. Ron Keefover is the education officer for the court system.

The meeting is at 6 pm at the Topeka-Shawnee County Public Library. It's part of a year-long study of the court system. Recommendations from the report will be released early next year.

Stephen Koranda is KPR's Statehouse reporter.
