Chiefs To Play After Murder-Suicide of Linebacker, Girlfriend

The Kansas City Chiefs say their game against the Carolina Panthers will go on as scheduled, following the murder-suicide of linebacker Jovan Belcher and his girlfriend, Kasandra Perkins. According to police reports, Belcher shot Perkins at their home Saturday, then drove to Arrowhead Stadium where he shot himself in front of Chiefs coach Romeo Crennel and general manager Scott Pioli.  In a written statement, the Chiefs say they will play the Carolina Panthers at noon today (SUN) at Arrowhead Stadium as scheduled.
