Bill Would Allow Open Carry in All Kansas Communities

(Flick Photo by Lisa Larson)

The Libertarian Party of Kansas has sued the communities that ban open carry, saying their ordinances violate state law, but lawmakers are also looking at the issue. As KPR's Stephen Koranda tells us, the House Federal and State Affairs Committee held a hearing on the bill yesterday (THUR).
