The battle over guns continues in Topeka. Some lawmakers want to roll back a law that allows people to carry concealed guns on college campuses, libraries and other public places... like the KU Hospital in Kansas City. The debate has centered on one central question: do guns enhance or detract from public safety? But another question is cost. Sam Zeff, with the Kansas News Service, reports.

Sam Zeff is a reporter for the Kansas News Service, a collaboration of public radio stations covering education, health, and politics across the state.

The Kansas News Service produces essential enterprise reporting, diving deep and connecting the dots in tracking the policies, issues and and events that affect the health of Kansans and their communities.
