DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Baker University fell to Saint Francis of Indiana, 38-17, in the NAIA championship game. This was Baker's second NAIA-FCS National Championship game in its football program history, competing against 4th-ranked University of St. Francis. The Wildcats ended its season with a school record of 14-1. Baker scored first in the game on its first drive on a 26-yard field goal by junior Clarence Clark with 12:18 to go in the 1st quarter.
