Attorney Files Suit to Remove Obama from Ballot

Taitz speaking during the Board of Objections meeting this week. (Photo by Stephen Koranda)A California attorney has filed a lawsuit in Kansas attempting to stop President Obama from appearing on the November election ballot. Orly Taitz (“tates”) filed the lawsuit on behalf of a Kansas resident. Taitz is active in the so-called “birther” movement. She says Obama isn’t eligible to be president, and she made news in Kansas earlier this week when she demanded to speak about the issue at a hearing of the State Objections Board. After the hearing, she claimed Obama is using forged documents.

Hawaii officials sent a letter to the Objections Board confirming the information in President Obama’s birth certificate is accurate. There’s a hearing on the lawsuit scheduled for October 3rd.
