Arts Project Encourages Big Dreams, Big Ideas

An unusual community arts project for kids and teachers has been gathering momentum in Kansas elementary schools and libraries. The Dream Rocket Project is the latest arts initiative being headed up by Jennifer Marsh, the founder of the International Fiber Collaborative, and until recently, a professor of art at Washburn University. She's now working full-time on the Dream Rocket Project...which she explained to KPR's Laura Lorson.

Jennifer Marsh is the founder and director of the Dream Rocket Project. For more information on how to get involved, visit The Dream Rocket website. You'll find links there to the Dream Rocket Facebook page, resources for educators, photos of the artwork and different ways to participate in the project.
