Arts Advocates Renew Call to Restore Arts Funding

Arts advocates are renewing their call for the governor and Legislature to restore state funding to the Kansas Arts Commission. Earlier this year, Governor Sam Brownback vetoed funding for the Agency. The state then lost more than $1 million in federal matching funds for the arts. KPR’s Stephen Koranda has more on the call to restore $700,000 in state funding to the Arts Commission.

Stephen Koranda is KPR's Statehouse reporter.
