April Declared Child Abuse Prevention Month in KS

The governor has proclaimed April as "Child Abuse Prevention Month."  The Kansas Children's Service League says there were more than 64-thousand reports of child abuse and neglect in Kansas last year. Attorney General Derek Schmidt says around 90 percent of the time, the abuser is someone the child knows.
