This accomplished writer has had three collections of poems issued as books, and she's frequently had her work appear in poetry journals and online. Her latest collection of poetry, The Apothecary's Heir, was selected as a 2011 National Poetry Series winner - one of just five chosen nationwide. KPR's Laura Lorson recently spoke with Julianne Buchsbaum about the differences between poetry and prose... and a how career spent among books has affected her work as a poet.
