American Serengeti Explores Big Game on the High Plains

Most people have seen deer in the wild; maybe even antelope. But what about grizzly bears and wolves? And that's the subject of a book called American Serengeti: The Last Big Animals of the Great Plains, by historian Dan Flores. Commentator Rex Buchanan has this review.

Commentator Rex Buchanan is director emeritus of the Kansas Geological Survey. He lives in Lawrence. He was talking about the book American Serengeti: The Last Big Animals of the Great Plains, by Dan Flores.
