AAA Says Gas Prices Will Rise this Spring but Just Slightly

The AAA Auto Club says price increases are expected every spring, but this year, prices will still be historically low.
The AAA Auto Club says price increases are expected every spring, but this year, prices will still be historically low.

A fill up at your local gas station will cost you a little more in the next couple of months but Jim Hanni, with AAA Auto Club of Kansas, says gas prices will still be less than we've seen in recent years.

Hanni says a slight bump in retail gas prices is normal in the spring.

AAA says Americans paid the lowest quarterly gas prices in a dozen years during the first three months of 2016.  According to AAA’s figures, the average driver in Kansas saved about $575 on gas last year.
