AAA Predicts Kansas Gas Prices Will Remain Below Average

Prices are below $2 per gallon in Kansas and six other states.

Drivers in Kansas are enjoying prices at the gas pump that have fallen below two dollars a gallon. Jim Hanni of the AAA of Kansas says the Sunflower State has some of the lowest prices in the country right now.


 

Hanni says he thinks the prices will remain low for some time, but there are still lots of factors worth watching.


Hanni says he doesn't think the OPEC countries will be able to reach an agreement to slow production down, so it shouldn't affect prices too much. Hanni anticipates prices will continue to decline as long as there are no interruptions in supply.
