Vancouver based tenor saxophonist Cory Weeds new CD, The Many Deeds of Cory Weeds," has him leading a cooklng quartet in a live performance at the Cellar jazz club. With a group anchored by organist Joey DeFrancesco, Weeds shows off a muscular, bluesy style in a set including a Horace Silver tune and two numbers by Hank Mobley.
