Topeka Symphony Holiday Concert

The Capitol Federal® Topeka Symphony Holiday Concert will be presented at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16th in White Concert Hall on the Washburn University campus. The concert will feature holiday music favorites along with special guests the Kansas Youth Chorale.
“In keeping with our ‘Worlds Away’ theme for the year, our holiday concert will feature music and stories from around the world,” said Kyle Wiley Pickett, music director and conductor for the Topeka Symphony. “In addition to the ever-popular English, American, and German carols that everyone knows, we will also play Spanish Christmas songs and Russian Christmas carols. We are thrilled to have the talented young singers of the Kansas Youth Chorale perform with us for this very special concert, and I have invited a few other special guests to make an appearance with us onstage. It will be a wonderful concert celebrating holiday traditions across the globe, and we’ll conclude with a sing-a-long so the audience will be sure to get in the holiday spirit!”

Immediately following the concert, the audience is invited to greet Maestro Pickett, the Kansas Youth Chorale singers, and members of the orchestra at a reception hosted by Capitol Federal® in the Bradbury Thompson Alumni Center.
Season ticket packages for three to five concerts for 2015 – 2016 are available and start at $63.  New subscribers who purchase at least three concerts receive 25% off the regular subscription price.  A FlexPass, good for any combination of four admissions, is available for $118.  Single tickets are $34, $29 and $24, with full-time students at half price. Holiday gift packages are also available by contacting the Symphony office.
