Those Who Lead, Read October Event

Description: Mark McCormick, executive director of The Kansas African American Museum, will discuss the book “Between the World and Me” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19. This book by Ta-Nehisi Coates gives an overview of the history of race in America and the current crisis regarding race in America. The event is part of Friends University's “Those Who Lead, Read” program, a monthly speaker series that engages students and the Wichita community in a timely discussion about literacy and leadership.
