Kansas City Symphony Presents Classics Uncorked: Shakespeare in Music

Description: Jason Seber, David T. Beals III Assistant Conductor As Shakespeare wrote, “All the world’s a stage!” This Kansas City Symphony concert, produced in conjunction with the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival’s 25th anniversary, features timeless music inspired by the Bard’s greatest comedies, tragedies and histories. From Mendelssohn’s classic Scherzo from A Midsummer Night’s Dream to Tchaikovsky’s epic Romeo and Juliet Overture-Fantasy — this concert is sure to awaken the poet in you. After the concert, enjoy a complimentary glass of wine or champagne and mingle with Symphony musicians in Kauffman Center’s Brandmeyer Great Hall lobby. Most tickets $25.
