The Jayhawk Audubon Society’s March 28th program will feature Mike Lawrence and Tony Schmidt of the Lawrence chapter of Citizen’s Climate Lobby (CCL) who will update members on local, state, and national efforts to implement carbon fees and dividends as tools in the battle to slow climate change. Mike Lawrence, local chapter leader, will talk about local accomplishments and CCL’s work nationally. Tony Schmidt, a member of Kansas CCL’s Speakers Bureau, will discuss efforts to expand Citizen’s Climate Lobby across the state.

Please join the Jayhawk Audubon Society to become informed on this crucial climate topic. The program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
