Description: Jayhawk Audubon Society January 23rd Program January 23, 2017 - 7:30 p.m. - Free to the public Trinity Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 1245 New Hampshire, Lawrence KS The Jayhawk Audubon Society’s January 23rd program “Trekking in Uganda" will feature Dr. Roger Boyd, Emeritus Professor of Biology at Baker University and Education Coordinator at the Baker Wetlands Discovery Center. Dr. Boyd and his wife, Jan, experienced Uganda for three weeks in July 2016, and he will bring the trip to life telling about the birds and wildlife, the gorgeous landscapes, and the culture of Uganda - all illustrated with his striking photographs. Please join the Jayhawk Audubon Society to experience this trip through photographs and stories delivered by Dr. Roger Boyd. The program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
