Heartland Traditional Music and Dance Festival

The traditional dance and music groups of Lawrence, KS will be holding a special music and dance event that is part of the Country Dance and Song Society’s Centennial Celebration during the week of November 17 – 22, 2015. The week long event will involve residencies in local schools, the University of Kansas, as well as a 4 day weekend of workshops and dances that will feature contra, English and other dance forms (Couples, Scandinavian, Squares, Clogging, Ritual, Family).  This special event is sponsored by Lawrence Folk.
