Description: Please broadcast the following press release in the KPR calendar announcements Flint Hills Wisdom Keepers Annual Gathering in Council Grove, Kansas, April 28-30, 2017, is bringing together five Native American Elders and Presenters from indigenous nations around the U.S. It will be held at beautiful Flint Hills White Memorial Camp on Council Grove Lake. Interested participants are invited to join. Visit the website mentioned below for names, tribes and bios of Native American Elders and Presenters sharing ancestral traditions and ceremonies and also discussions on today's tribal challenges. Sacred Circle Firekeeping will take place day and night. Traditional dancers in regalia will perform from Haskell Indian Nations University. The weekend is a celebration of indigenous story-telling, drumming, wisdom, dance, humor, ingenuity, strength, perseverance, and games. Make your own drum at the Gathering's Sacred Drum Workshop Saturday eve, April 29th. Three, two and one-day options are available for registration.
