A: Morton and Norton counties

Morton County, which borders both Colorado and Oklahoma, is located in the extreme southwestern corner of Kansas. Elkhart is the county seat. Norton County, located in northwestern Kansas, borders Nebraska. The city of Norton is the county seat.
