A: Pratt

On March 28, 2009...Pratt, Kan., received 30 inches of snow – the greatest 24 hour snowfall amount in state history.

The record for the greatest YEARLY amount of snowfall in the state is held by the northwest Kansas town of McDonald, in Rawlins County. By the end of 1984, McDonald had received nearly 104 inches of snow. Yikes!
