At Kansas Public Radio, we are always working to improve and expand the news programming we provide for our listeners, and we need YOUR help. During One Day. One KU., a 24-hour giving campaign todayFebruary 20 KPR is working to raise money for our news department. By donating to the campaign, you would be providing funding for statewide, statehouse and local news, community discussion, national news programming from a variety of sources, including National Public Radio, and for programs such as KPR Presents.

KPR listeners that donate to the campaign will have the opportunity to have their gift doubled - over $5,000 in matching challenges are available, thanks to the generous support of several KPR news fans. February 20, 1863, is a significant date in KU history - a date that tells a powerful story about how one person can make a big difference. KU traces its very beginnings to that date when a bill that passed the state House of Representatives by just one vote became law. So, think of us today and continue supporting the station you love!
