As #53 of the Denver Broncos, KU grad Steven Johnson is now in his second year in the NFL. (Photo via Broncos) Steven Johnson plays for the Denver Broncos and is in his second year in the NFL. As a linebacker and senior captain for the Kansas Jayhawks in 2012, he led the Big 12 Conference and ranked 21st in the nation with 124 tackles. He finished his four-year college career at KU with 229 tackles, 6.5 tackles for a loss and two sacks. He wasn’t taken in the annual college draft, but signed with the Broncos in May 2012 and has been with the team ever since.

Chris Harris Jr. is in his third year in the NFL, all of them with the Broncos. In that time, he’s played in 47 regular-season games, intercepting seven passes. In 2012, he returned two of his interceptions for touchdowns, tying the franchise single season record.
