Conversations: KU's Black Love Symposium - Ayesha Hardison and Randal Maurice Jelks

On the 80th Anniversary of Zora Neale Hurston's novel, Their Eyes Were Watching God, KU will hold a symposium that explores themes of black love in literature, culture and other disciplines. On this edition of Conversations, KU professors Ayesha Hardison and Randal Maurice Jelks join me to talk about the Black Love Symposium which will be held September 11-18 and is open to the public free of charge. More information and registration for the symposium is at bls.ku.edu.

Dan Skinner is a former Director of Kansas Public Radio and the Audio-Reader Network. He is the host of KPR's Conversations program.
