Conversations: David Treuer, "The Heartbeat of Wounded Knee: Native America from 1890 to the Present"

On this edition of Conversations, David Treuer talks about his latest book, The Heartbeat of Wounded Knee: Native America from 1890 to the Present. Treuer is Ojibwe from the Leech Lake Reservation in northern Minnesota. The author of four previous novels and two books of nonfiction, he has also written for The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and The Washington Post, among others.
