Admiral Michael Mullen, Joint Chiefs of Staff
As Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Mullen serves as the principal military advisor to the President, the Secretary of Defense, the National Security Council, and the Homeland Security Council. Mullen gave the Landon Lecture at Kansas State Unviersity earlier this month. You can hear it on this week's KPR Presents, 8:00 Sunday evening on Kansas Public Radio.

KPR features a listener picture of the week on the main page of our Web site. Your picture could be selected.

  • We are looking for photos that feature the state of Kansas or western Missouri
  • We are particularly interested in landscapes and weather scenes
  • The more recent, the better!
  • Pictures should be in .jpg or .gif format
  • Pictures should be no wider than 400 pixels wide and no higher than 400 pixels tall
  • KPR may perform minor adjustments (sizing, color, contrast, brightness, etc.) as required
