Here's a splendid example of early work by Lalo Schifrin, lovingly restored from the Paris sessions of the 1950's featuring Eddie Warner's Orchestra for whom Schifrin arranged, conducted and played piano. This hugely enjoyable album features several original compositions by Schifrin as well as by his mentor Dizzy Gillespie.
